General Membership Terms
Lessons will be billed monthly on the date of the first lesson following your free trial. You won’t be billed for anything until your first lesson after your initial free trial. To cancel without being charged for any lessons simply visit RogueMusicAcademy.com/change and fill out the form there at least 24 hrs before the start of your first billing cycle. After that date lessons will continue month-to-month unless cancelled.
Any authorized purchases registered to your account (books, guitar strings, etc.) will be processed to the card on file. Tuition will be billed according to the terms listed in the “Billing” section of this document.
Holidays
We take one week off each season so that there is always an average of four lessons per month. The exact dates vary each year, but these break weeks are schedule around Spring Break, the 4th of July, Labor Day, and Christmas. We are also out Thanksgiving and New Years Day, if your lesson falls on either of those days you’ll receive a makeup credit that can be used to schedule a free lesson anytime within the next month.
Makeups and Missed Lessons
If you are unable to attend your regularly scheduled lesson simply give us a call at (541) 292-4247 or send an email to info@RogueMusicAcademy.com. We are usually able to schedule a makeup lesson if we receive at least 24 hrs notice. We can also set up a live video lesson over Zoom or Skype if you’re simply unable to make it into the studio but otherwise available.
We are unable to offer refunds if you’re not able to make it your regular appointment and are unable to schedule a makeup or virtual session. We are also unable to schedule makeup appointments for lessons missed without prior notice, as we reserve a space for each student in the schedule.
Teacher Absences
Your lessons are scheduled with the same instructor each week, so that you can build a relationship with them and follow a consistent lesson plan. Occasionally, however, they may need to miss an appointment and in those cases one of our other instructors trained in the specific area and instrument that you’re studying may substitute for your regular teacher.
If a substitute is not available, you will receive a makeup credit that can be used to schedule a free lesson anytime within the next month. If this happens more than once a quarter (Jan-March, April-June, July-Sep, Oct-Dec) then you will have the option of scheduling a makeup or receiving a discount on your next month’s membership equal to the cost of the missed lesson.
Billing and Pricing
Our standard membership includes automatic payment and we do need to have a valid card on file for all recurring memberships, but you can also pay using cash or check at the studio during your regular lesson time. Cash or check payments must be received before the start of your billing cycle, otherwise payment will be processed to the card on file.
We are proud to offer the lowest cost in town for high-quality, professional lessons. Our standard membership rate is only $149/month for 30 min./week after your free trial. 1 hr/week classes are also available for $279/month.
Your initial payment will be processed on the date of your first lesson following your free trial. All future payments will be processed monthly based on the date of your free trial and will cover the following four lessons. You can change this date at any time by visiting RogueMusicAcademy.com/change and filling out the form there at least 24 hrs. before your next scheduled payment.
As we reserve a space in the instructor’s schedule for each student we aren’t able to roll missed lessons over into the following month, but speak with your teacher if you ever have to miss a class and they’ll do their best to schedule a makeup appointment for you.
Cancellations
If you ever need to cancel your lessons that’s no problem, although we’ll be sad to see you go. To avoid any miscommunications we do require that all cancelation requests be made at RogueMusicAcademy.com/change.
